CMG Financial is hiring a Mailroom Intake Processor will be responsible for the compliant and timely processing of physical documents received in our Loan Servicing center, electronic communications from borrowers or third parties that are not automatically routed to the appropriate teams, and research functions to ensure proper routing of tasks between front- and back-office teams. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and executing policies and procedures effectively. This position plays a critical role in assisting borrowers by ensuring requests are processed and/or routed accurately and promptly. This position is on-site at our office in Troy, MI.

 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes but not limited to:

 

  • Ensures all reviews, system updates and quality control measures comply with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of requests and documentation received.
  • Ensures a customer-centric approach in all processing activities.
  • Collaborates in the resolution of escalated customer issues and complaints.
  • Assists with the development of the mortgage servicing ecosystem.
  • Executes policies and procedures effectively and provides feedback to management in relation to them, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with State, Federal, Regulatory, and Investor Requirements and guidelines, maintains up-to-date knowledge of internal policies and procedures, and understands how requirement changes affect the operation.
  • Collaborates with risk management and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Other projects and assignments as needed.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

COMPENSATION: CMG pays a competitive hourly rate which ranges from $21.63/hour - $26.45/hour. Factors that affect hourly rate may include: Loan Servicing experience, overall knowledge of loan servicing, number of years worked in mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
